Ace Race Final Items

Hi All.

As a reminder the Ace Race is this Sunday starting 1pm. You can start throwing as late as 3pm. The location is at Dry Run Creek in Mitchell, directions are below. The weather looks good for Sunday so we are quite excited.

We would also encourage you to visit Xtreme Trendz (http://xtremetrendz.com/) who donated a prize (a Spectra Discraft disc) for the charity Mini Toss. We are raising money for some underprivileged kids who are in an institutional environment where they have disc golf baskets in place and a few really old discs in very bad condition. The mini toss event will start around 3 or so and will cost $3. for 5 throws the closest to the basket (or in) wins, throwoffs as needed.

Xtreme Trendz has a full line of Innova discs for sale and some Discraft discs. This is the best disc golf shop we have found so far in three states.

We will also have a practice basket setup so you can try to out the 2009 Ace Race disc prior to hitting the course.

Those who have signed up in advance may send us a request for the discs they want in the weight and color and we will hold them out for you, please specify color and weight and which is most important. You may also let us know what color hat you would like. All people who sign up will receive a hat, ESP plastic 2009 Ace Race disc, ProD plastic 2009 Ace Race disc and a mini marker.

ESP plastic is shiny disc and weights in upper 160s to 174. There is only 1 teal disc: others are pink, purple, green and 2 black discs.

Pro D is less shiny plastic and weighs from 164 to 174. The colors are blue, teal?, white, and yellow.

The hats are green, tan, white, blue, and black.

If time permits, we are hoping to throw a round of dirty mob dollars. Costs $1 to buy per hole you want to throw, closest to basket with a birdie wins the pot. If CTB does not earn a birdie money rolls over to next hole and again a $1 buy in.
